For more than 40 years, I’ve worked across seven countries in the insurance industry, but the Middle East has always felt like home. I’ve spent over four decades working in Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, most recently serving as Regional Head for Lloyd’s of London based here in Dubai
Those years have shaped not only how I understand the region but also what I cherish most in this industry: genuine relationships, technical discipline, and immense respect for the markets we serve. I’ve been fortunate enough to build a network of senior, trusted connections within and around the industry, including insurers, brokers, and regulators.
That’s what led me to create Andywoodward Consulting, based here in Dubai.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) and with over four decades in this industry, I bring both professional expertise and hands-on market experience. Over the years, I’ve built long-standing relationships with brokers, underwriters, and regulators across the region, connections built on collaboration and trust.
